Colleen brings more than 20 years of experience in public relations, government affairs, public policy and strategic communications to Gateway85 CID. She leads the CID’s transportation and mobility initiatives, oversees grant strategy and funding opportunities, and supports communications and external partnerships that advance the district’s long-term priorities. Prior to joining Gateway85, Colleen served as assistant general manager of external affairs at MARTA, where she led stakeholder engagement, government relations and communications strategy for one of the region’s largest transit agencies. Her experience in transportation policy and regional planning strengthens Gateway85’s efforts to enhance connectivity, improve accessibility and support sustained economic growth. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental studies from Emory University and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

As the administrative coordinator for Gateway85 CID, Jerry supports daily operations, communication and organizational processes. By supporting leadership and ensuring clear, consistent communication, he helps create an environment where the team can stay focused on strengthening Gateway85’s impact and long-term progress.
