What Gateway85 Means for Your Business

If you are here because you received an email, that means your business is located within the Gateway85 Community Improvement District (CID). A CID is a self-funded district where commercial property owners contribute additional tax dollars that are reinvested locally into infrastructure, safety and other improvements that strengthen the district and increase property values. The goal is to create a more accessible, secure and well-maintained environment for businesses and the broader community.

As one of Gwinnett County’s key business corridors, Gateway85 focuses these investments in four core areas that support both daily operations and long-term growth:

Public Safety and Technology: Supporting innovative tools and partnerships that enhance safety

Beautification and Placemaking: Creating a cleaner, more welcoming district

Mobility and Infrastructure: Improving access, traffic flow, community connectivity and transportation options

Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy: Representing district interests and building strong partnerships

These efforts are designed to support day-to-day business operations while contributing to the long-term success of the area.

As we look ahead, we are placing a greater emphasis on hearing directly from district businesses. In the coming weeks, we will share opportunities for you to provide input and help shape future programs, including potential leadership and business development opportunities.

We appreciate the role your business plays in this corridor and look forward to staying connected.
