Gateway85 CID prioritizes beautification year-round to ensure the district stays attractive, safe and business-friendly. Through routine maintenance and large-scale seasonal projects, we’re enhancing the overall look and feel of the community for everyone who lives, works and travels through the area.
The CID performs landscaping upkeep throughout the district, including mowing rights-of-way, picking up roadside trash, sweeping main roads and managing larger landscape installations. These maintenance efforts help keep the district not only beautiful but also safe and accessible. Maintained corridors include Beaver Ruin Road, Indian Trail Road, Buford Highway (south of Jimmy Carter Boulevard), Brook Hollow Parkway, Jimmy Carter Boulevard, and all four I-85 interchanges within the 14-square-mile district.

In Spring 2025, Gateway85 CID launched one of its largest beautification efforts to date, planting 500 trees and 4,185 flowering plants throughout the district. The upgrades included vibrant new landscaping across five medians on Oakbrook Parkway and a newly designed Beaver Ruin Road median.
These improvements add more than beauty — they contribute to a more walkable and inviting environment that enhances the everyday experience of commuters, visitors and residents.
